On Tuesday I have had the most interesting lesson ever, probably some of my classmates have already done a life drawings before but as for me, it was the first time to draw life naked female figure.
However not only the female was interesting to draw but the whole experience of group of people all together in one room and all drawing one subject in the middle and sharing the drawn work with one another, I think that was very refreshing. Because after each round we all had the chance to walk around and see everybody's artwork and learn from each other. Each time we drew a different perspective of the lady, our skills improved rapidly.
I am very happy with my results from Tuesday and I hope there would be many more life drawings to come in the future and I shall adapt and learn as I develop further in life.

The Anatomy
Unit One The Anatomy – Self Portrait
Ask Phil – It would be extremely helpful if the teacher could show us just ONE example of previous student’s work such as the ‘The Anatomy’ Unit. I think if we see one example, we can pursue to push the bars even higher with a quality work and every year new students would understand perfectly of how an Essay is written and how it should look like.
So we have come to our 3rd Week and things are starting to get heated up but I am loving it ^_^. Unfortunately I moved back to London and now I got to settle in the house again, which means re-organising my room again to my studying level. It is not a problem but just time consuming.
Monday is coming closer and I still don’t have a clue how to write an essay, I probably do but it would be very useful if I could just have a look at how a University Essay is written. I don’t think the essay writing method is same as in College. Anybody has a clue how to write a University essay??...
I have been doing my research about the self portrait and I have come across to like about 5 artists style and I would be interested to use their method as an influence and perhaps even try to combine all 5 styles into my portrait. However I still need to get used to using my Wacom Tablet in order to come up with a nice self-portrait using Photoshop.

METROPOLIS - 2001 - MANGA
Just watched 58mins of Metropolis the anime version and my mind is blown into pieces with the amount of detailed artwork has been applied and also the storyline is so beautiful, however I have yet still got more than an hour left to watch. But for now, I will leave it at this point and write more about the anime and the story when I have fully finished watching the movie.
To be continued...
Sketches
Finally back from London!
Yes finally back from London and it looks like i am going to be moving out again back to London :-( ... not happy. Another waste of time and delays. Anyhow, before I become busy again I would like to use this time and opportunity to fully update my blog.
In this blog I would like to include my sketches, these sketches are kind of concept arts as well. Before I started the CG Arts course, I was given a black sketch book during my summer time and it stated that we should do 101 Concept Drawings based from a provided piece of designs.
I followed and did about 8 concept drawings. Why only 8?....I have my reasons.
Below images are the 8 Concept Drawings
MECHANIC CONCEPTS
This piece of concept is hovering motorbike, it doesn't touch the ground. It has the same technology as used in the Appleseed.
This concept is designed to cut through wind and space, increasing the speed from a normal space craft. I tried to design the concept in a way that all the wind and air wouldn't have to expand too much in order to increase the speed instead create holes between the space craft for the air to pass through with ease.
With this concept I tried to draw out a space craft that has an organic feel to the body armor. So instead of full mecha based spaceship, I thought it would be great if I could try and design an organic based spaceship, that sort of has life form.
CHARACTER CREATION CONCEPT
First part of this particular concept shows the different ideas being tested and tried to manipulate the shapes to fit with the concept idea that I have had in my mind. With this concept I took my time and wanted to create a proper full body character creature. My main ideas such as character creation, they tend to be mostly creature type and not happy creatures but baddies.
This particular image shows the work-flow of the concept.
This image shows the second part of the character creation concept and it is still the work-flow of the design. However through this sketch and designs I came to my final design.
This concept is sort of spider type creature, which I would see somewhere in video games as the baddie. The Final BOSS ^_^ .
The Final Look
STRUCTURE CONCEPT
For the structure design I thought of a design where a beauty meets nature.
This is the first sketch that I designed and I wanted to provide an eco friendly building without having too much trees sticking out of it. The structure will be energized through solar systems. At the top of each end of the windows such as levels. There would be a solar systems attached along with a giant version at the top of the roof for a maximum performance. There would be ultra high powered batteries on each floor to absorb the energy from the sun and allow the building to use only few percentages per minute. Allowing the building to be fully functioned only with the energy from the sun.
After several thoughts I decided it would be more logical if I make two buildings instead of one and make them feel wrapped together. However the wrapped technique could be just a design or the whole solar system throughout the structure.
THE FINAL LOOK
The above images were my concept drawings and I wish I had more freedom at the time to do more sketches and designs. However I have started my Uni and I must continue with my essay.
I'd like to add two more images of facial portrait, which I drew of my classmates from the Uni.
I'd like to Thank Aju and Godwin for their support and help.
AJU
GODWINIn the meantime I prefer to draw people's face only one side or the half. I find it more complicated and tougher to draw the full faces. Until the right time I would keep drawing half the face. ^_^
Which I hope, the improvement would be extremely soon !!
^^
So it begins...
Finally got my internet set up and working...yataaaaa ^_^
Finally after long time I am having some time and freedom for myself. I would like to use this time to update my blog and add a lot more.
First of all, I think it would be great if I do a lil introduction of myself. If everyone in my course is going to read one another's blogs.
My name is Bayarbayasgalan Oyuntuya I would appreciate if people call me just BAJA. I am originated from Mongolia and have been living in UK for 9yrs. My interest and passion is of course art and animation. One particular animation that I am mostly interested is Stop Motion Animation. However I also adore computer generated animations such as made in 3D application tools.
During my free time I love taking pictures with my camera. Every time when I go out I like to challenge myself with any type of photography theme depending on the weather to try and come up with different kind of perspective and idea.
My other interests are sports activities, such as cycling, gym, swimming and jogging.
For the introduction side I would end it for now. Hopefully within a month or two I would know almost everyone in my course and find who they are and what are their interests.
So for now, this concludes the end of this blog.
^_^ Happy Blogging ^_^
