Am having the same problem with the X-Ray, Water and Blood Vessel. It is fairly easy but this problem is holding me back from finishing this whole project off. However I am also working on my Uncanny project. Will be back in about 2 or 3hours. Gotta go and take care of some stuff first.

Blood Vessel Issue

I have just wasted a lot of time by trying to find out the problem with the Connection Editor in Maya when trying to connect the SamplerInfo to the Outer Ramp.
Someone please guide me in the right direction, to help you understand below is my screenshot.
When I try to connect the SamplerInfo to the Ramp using the facingRatio, in the Connection Editor the facingRation just wouldn't appear and I followed Alan's video step by step and not sure what has happened.

meanwhile moving onto my next project until I figure out the problem with the Blood Vessel

Another question about Beveling on Maya....
I followed the video as usual and still have problems.
Below are two screenshots first one shows that I have selected the entire object with Edge Tool...
The Second shows that nothing has taken effect after pressing the Bevel button from the Edit Mesh Menu.
Anybody know the reasons?...In the meantime I will look for the answers myself and try to figure out the problem.
