Just came from watching Poltergeist with my classmates as part of our unheimlich experience. Poltergeist is Directed by Tobe Hooper and Produced by Steven Spielberg. The build up of the story is done in a very friendly approach with a warm family side to it. The story slowly develops more into grime and spine chilling effect. The sound effect is excellent along with the visual effects, since it is produced by Steven Spielberg the quality of the movie was stunning and as expected from him.

Steven Spielberg is not known in making many horror movies but this is one of the movies that can make quite a lot of people feel uneasy. Especially when I was observing the guys in the Theatre Room, most of them kept fiddling about with their phones, or even pretend that they are tired just at the time when some jumpy scenes were expected like in every other horror movies. Most of us don't like the idea of horror movies, something that will scare your soul but we still try to be brave and pretend we can handle all the scary stuff.

Anyhow poltergeist and these ghostly activities are real and not a fiction except the part with taking the humans into the TV. It is important to know not to play about with the spirits.

In the meantime I really enjoyed this movie as I always have and it was refreshing to watch it again after some odd years later.
